Aims and Objectives:
There are four developmental objectives in the curriculum framework for our early childhood development program, namely “Physical Development”, “Cognitive and Language Development”, “Affective and Social Development” and “Aesthetic Development”.
These objectives are achieved through six learning areas which are “Physical Fitness and Health”, “Language – Speaking & Listening Skills”, “Early Mathematics – Magical Numbers”, “Science and Technology – At Play”, “Self and Society – Care for environment” and “Arts & Craft – Creative Development”.
Special emphasis is placed on developing children’s basic skills, building up basic concepts and helping the development of positive values and attitudes. Our learning includes three key elements, namely “knowledge”, “skills” and “attitudes”, so as to nurture a balanced development of children in ethical, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic aspects.
We prepare our students to meet CIE Primary standards as they move ahead.
